Telemarketing License

Overview

OSP stands for Other Service Providers specifying to the service contributed in the Telecommunication Industry which uses telecom resources. It comprises BPO/call centers, e-commerce, telebanking, education, and different IT-enabled services. Department of Telecommunication following the New Telecom Policy (NTP) 1999 did it mandatory for OSPs to use telecom resources to get Licenses.

According to the terms and conditions OSPs should not implement switched telephony and are permitted to take telecom resources from authorized Telecom Service Providers alone. Department of Telecommunication gives registration to telecom resources rendering an array of the above-mentioned services
